La Vega Veterinary Clinic Staff
Dr. Tamra Walthall
Dr. Tamra Walthall is the principal veterinarian, and co-owner with her husband Roy.
Tamra is active in the community. She served on the Board of Trustees for the La
Vega Independent School District for 18 years. She has also been a director for the Texas State School Board Association (TASB) and served on the Animal Control Board for the city of Waco in the past. She will serve on the board of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) again in the Spring of 2010. Dr. Walthall also works with the Waco Humane Society providing veterinary care for animals at the shelter and in foster care.
Dr. Walthall's husband is an Instructor for McLennan Community College. They have a daughter who teaches 6th Grade at Connally ISD, and a son who attends UT in Austin.
Though she is not specialized, her talents lie
in diagnostics with a special interest in Ultrasound.

Carol Culverhouse
| Carol Culverhouse is our Head Veterinary Technician. She takes care for all the animals, as well as restraining them for examinations. She also does the cleaning as well as much of the labwork. |

Denise Brown is a Veterinary Technician. She assists Carol with animal care, examinations, and lab work. |

Angela Robinson
| Angela Robinson is responsible for walking,
feeding and medicating the animals on weekends and Thursdays. Though she
works fulltime at the family business Gritten Wrecker Service during the
rest of the week. Angela can always be counted on whenever any patient
or boarder needs special care. Upon special request, she is also availble
to meet clients, when feasible, who need to pick up their pets after hours.

Brittany Janes

Brittany Janes is a full time student at Hill College in Hillsboro in Genetics. She grooms for La Vega Veterinary Clinic, as well as the Waco Humane Society. |

Dr. Doyle Cooper
| Dr. Doyle Cooper
works at La Vega Veterinary Clinic part time. The former owner of
Lake Air Animal Hospital, he now works parttime at many veterinary
hospitals in the Central Texas area. He is an excellent surgeon. He and
his wife Ramona travel extensively. |
